We are dedicated creators united by a single mission: to build world-class SaaS companies that leverage AI to solve industry problems.
Gateway Ventures is a development studio focused on building impactful solutions designed to solve real challenges in business operations today.
Our team comprises of hands-on specialists in Product, Design, Go-to-Market, and more, dedicated to helping companies & founders build and launch AI driven solutions.
From concept to scale - We generate ideas, build teams, and accelerate product development.
Each product or company we create is distinct, and there's no one-size-fits-all approach, but here’s what you can expect from us.
Ideation & Validation: We closely monitor macro trends in the future of work and maintain ongoing dialogue with key industry specialist to identify market gaps through researching and analyzing pain points, to develop product concepts that meets those needs.
We are constantly seeking exceptionally talented co-founders & product leaders to join our team. Our co-founders come from diverse backgrounds and careers, but they all share a bold ambition, self-awareness, a passion for growth, industry knowledge and strong leadership qualities.
In the first 12 to 18 months, we’ll work tirelessly to develop the initial product, gain traction, meet customer needs, and get the product to market fit. Our companies become independent once they secure external funding, but we continue to be a close partner throughout their growth journey.
We enable brilliant individuals to build transformative companies. While success requires many elements and a bit of luck, we don’t provide the latter, but we do offer:
We partner with companies & individuals for whom launching an internal product or company isn’t just a decision, but a calling—people who will build with or without us. Beyond this innate drive, we look for specific qualities that consistently contribute to a products success: vision, humility, and strong execution. While there may be exceptions, these traits are common among our clients & founders.
Our initial ideas often stem from our partners and the rich discussions we engage in across the global SaaS ecosystem. Through deep exposure to entrepreneurs, companies, investors, and industry trends, we identify new pain points that need solving. For us, an idea usually involves two components: (1) a specific pain point to address, and (2) a first mockup or MVP concept—a basic solution that begins solving the problem while delivering enough value to users. It's important to note that the idea will naturally evolve as we collaborate with the founding team, and in our experience, founders quickly take full ownership of the idea as it develops.
The startup team will work side by side with our core team in our office, collaborating daily across all areas—product development, design, recruiting, go-to-market strategies, fundraising, and team management. This close proximity fosters continuous interaction and shared progress on every front. To maintain momentum and alignment, we follow a structured weekly sprint process, covering not just product development but also business and go-to-market activities. These sprints are supported by regular routines, including kick-off meetings, product reviews, recruiting sessions, and go-to-market discussions, with additional ad hoc meetings to address specific challenges.
We take an active, hands-on role in every project as a co-founder, providing support throughout a 12-month period. Our team works closely with founders in critical areas like product development, design, strategy, go-to-market planning, recruiting, and fundraising. The goal is to help build strong, self-sustaining companies, both operationally and financially. We cover all expenses until the company reaches independence. However, we do not offer shared consulting services or funding to companies once they become independent. Our partners play a crucial role in shaping strategic decisions, guiding the business's direction, and tackling complex challenges. While founders are at the helm, they benefit from the expertise and insights provided, blending autonomy with expert support.
Once a company raises a seed round, it transitions into a traditional startup. The founders take full control, working with a board that includes key investors. As the business grows, so does the team, often leading to higher cash burn. To sustain this growth, startups typically raise additional funding rounds (Series A, B, C, etc.) if they need to, usually from venture capitalists. Gateway Ventures remains a shareholder until the company achieves an exit, either through a sale or by going public.
